ios - How can we track a GPS Device in our app? -

i want track gps device.i know how use google map , all. don't know how gps device location? if device moving constantly, app should track correct position on map. 1 way if gps device stores current location in database on server every second. fetch location using api.but have hit api every second. don't know if gps device can store data in database or not.
